Fall Mega Mojo League

Ten weeks to climb the score ladder. Can count your two highest weekly scores played in person with 3 other MMSC members at a Monday night open play or Wednesday morning open play or other venue as agreed by Bevin with four total league members. Max two top scores per week count. You enter your scores, and Bevin verifies weekly. At least one in person make-up session will be offered for those who have to miss a week. $50 buy-in required. Prize pool will be allocated depending on the total number of players who opt in and split out by percentage to beginner and advanced. Chinese mahjong play tables and those not opting into the league are not eligible for prizes, but welcome for concurrent open play.

Morning Mahjong

Covers one month of morning open play. Recurring open play series appropriate for adults. This is not a lesson environment and is for players who are comfortable with group play or light guided play. We are a great group--both supportive of players still learning and welcoming to newcomers. All are welcome, but you should have taken at least a 101 lesson and be prepared to play at a regular game pace. This is a group rhythm over an individual comfort level table. If you self-assess as a beginner, you will play with the Mahji when possible. We meet in the Market Cafe at the Wegman's in Mechanicsburg, PA. There is parking and an entrance on the far right end of the bldg as you look at the store. We will be outside (covered/shaded) weather permitting. It can be chilly inside so a light sweater is recommended.

Tiki Night Tiles

Open play at the War College Tiki Bar Nights. There is an open bar and available food for purchase plus music or DJ. All supplies provided-just bring your 2026 NMJL card. Cost is $5 to play. Pay cash on site. Look for Bevin and she'll have space set aside for the required tables Focused on: Social play in an open environment with mixed tables and lots of laughter. Should be a competent player needing only light support and guidance. Questions welcome and demos available. . Must be able to get access to the Barracks and pass a background check. Go left just as approaching the gate to go to the Visitor's Center and get a pass. If it's closed, go to the gate. The Tiki Bar is behind the Letort View Community Center next to the pool.
